One of the first recruiting coups of the Mark Stoops era, McWilson played in eight games as a freshman but worked his way into a more prominent role as a sophomore. He appeared in all 12 games with two starts. McWilson ranked second on the team with three interceptions, but he dropped a possible interception that could have helped seal a win vs. Louisville in the season finale. As a junior, McWilson will be counted on to replace Ashely Lowery as a full-time starter at one safety spot.
