Big, burly interior defensive lineman who can probably translate to multiple schemes in college. Adequate height and length with enough upper-body room to add more bulk if needed. Strong, wide base. Displays encouraging get-off quickness at the snap relative to size. Flashes penetrating ability to disrupt the run game. Good punch. Owns the close-quarters power and strength to collapse the pocket from the inside. Sure tackler with consistent finishing strength. Shows an effective swim to cut through the A-gap. Plays with good pad level. Can improve overall balance and body control. Needs to improve redirecting ability and lateral mobility. Occasionally gets big-play happy and runs himself out of the play. Not overly tall and could get swamped by larger offensive linemen. Dominant vs. small-school high school opponents and faces significant jump in competition level. Likely fits the nose in an odd-front scheme. Possesses tools to develop into quality starter at the P5 level.
