Comparison

Ryan Tannehill Tennessee Titans

A high-upside quarterback prospect that doesn’t have a ton of live game reps under his belt, but has plenty of tools to work with including a live arm. Spent sophomore year playing mostly wide receiver and safety for Georgia’s AAAA state champions while backing up and learning from Auburn signee Holden Geriner. Looks the part with a lean, athletic frame that’s pushing 6-foot-4. Fluid mover that looks like a natural in the pocket despite having just started a handful of games on Friday nights. Quicker release allows him to generate plenty of velocity and drive the ball down the field. Accurate – and creative – on the run, which is encouraging as he can escape pressure and keep plays alive. Seems to be comfortable working out of a single-back spread attack and is someone defenses will have to respect as a runner. Obviously, doesn’t have a ton of experience when it comes to in-game management and situational football, but has impressed numerous evaluators in camp settings with his mechanics, footwork and attitude. Should be viewed as someone that could eventually win games on Saturdays given skillet. Will have a chance to keep rising in the rankings as he matures as a signal caller.

Athletic Background

Has also played basketball at the prep level.
----
2022: As a first-year starter, led Benedictine to a 13-2 record and a Peach State AAAA state title. Completed 171 of 263 pass attempts for 2,576 yards with 24 TD to go against 3 INT. Also carried the ball 139 times for 453 yards and 7 more TD.
2021: Served as the primary backup to Auburn signee and Elite 11 finalist Holden Geriner. In 15 games, attempted just 14 passes. However, ran for 186 yards and 5 TDs while also catching 25 passes as a WR for 287 yards and 3 more scores. Also played SAF and was on multiple special team units. Ended up getting credited with 61 tackles and an INT. Those numbers helped Benedictine capture a Georgia AAAA state title.
