A well-rounded wide receiver that’s not going to blow anyone away with his build, but always seems to be making the big play. As a junior, helped carry Daytona Beach Mainland to the state finals in one of Florida’s higher classifications, averaging just under 75 receiving yards per game. Naturally skilled route runner that does a nice job of mixing speeds and exploding in and out of breaks. Tracks back to the football better than most his age and gets aggressive at the catch point, which is encouraging for someone that’s on the slender side. Has a surprisingly large catch radius and does his best to make his quarterback look good. Not one that’s going to shed a bunch of tackles, but has some wiggle and can pick up chunks of yardage if he finds a crease in a defense. Will need to continue to evolve as a player – and add plenty of core strength over the next few years – but has the looks of someone that can morph into a reliable target for a Power Five program. Could be deployed on the inside or the outside depending on the scheme and game plan. Likely to make the biggest difference in the deeper third as that’s where he lives on Friday nights.
