Scouting Report
Evaluated 01/28/2023

A green defensive back that doesn’t have a ton of varsity snaps under his belt, but has the tools that a lot of college coaches covet. Measured roughly 6-foot, 165 pounds back in Spring of 2022. Blessed with some longer arms. As a junior, transferred into Miami Central where he worked at cornerback in a secondary that wasn’t short on FBS talent. Recorded multiple tackle in a win at IMG Academy and recovered a fumble to help spark the upset. Not afraid to use his hands and try to redirect at the line of scrimmage, but seems to be at his best working in off-coverage as he does a nice job of feeling out routes and getting where he needs to be. Broke up four passes as an 11th grader. However, will eventually need to turn those opportunities into takeaways if he’s going to be a true impact player on Saturdays. Must also add mass to a wiry frame. Should be viewed as a developmental corner/safety prospect with traits. Likely going to need a few years before he’s ready to go, but could take a big step forward as a senior after impressive showings on the winter 7v7 circuit.
Athletic Background
Has ran track at the prep level. As a 10th grader, was part of a St. Thomas Aquinas 4x100 team that made regionals. Posted a personal-best 11.39 (-0.4) that spring in the 100-meter dash.
----
2022: Worked at primarily cornerback for a Miami Central program that went 14-0 and won a Florida 2M title. Was credited with 8 tackles, 4 PBU and a FR per MaxPreps.
