Power-5 StarterShort and compact. While he lacks the ideal size and length, he makes up for it with his speed. A stand out on the track that went 10.76 in the 100-meter dash as a junior. Also qualified for states in the long jump as a sophomore. Instinctive player with a quick trigger. Takes solid angles and can navigate around blockers to make open-field tackles. Will compete on special teams and is dangerous with ball in hands. Fluid enough in the hips to play some cornerback. Can deliver a pop, but needs to get more physical, especially if he’s going to work in the box. Has to get stronger if he’s going to cover a tight end. Should develop into a starter and could carve out a role early on as a nickel for a Power 5 program.
